ABOUT THE OWNER
Clayton Trammell
Clayton, a Great Grandson of Marie Pigg, will represent the 4th Generation of the family
business and will be working alongside his mother, Bonnie Erter, who is the daughter of Billy
and Elise Pigg, current owners of the business and Clayton’s maternal grandparents.
Clayton was born in Azle in 1971.His father is Gary Trammell and his grandfather was C. Travis
Trammell of Azle.Travis bought his first grocery store in Azle in 1939. His brother, Vancil,
joined him, and they built larger locations, twice, on Main Street.At the time of Travis’ death
in 1990, Trammell’s Village Restaurant had occupied the second grocery store location for 25
years and the third store location became the Flying T Art Gallery. The property was
sold after his death and is now occupied by the El Paseo Restaurant.
Clayton first became a licensed Real Estate Agent in 1992 for Marie Pigg Real Estate, but soon
left for the opportunity to start, own and operate his own business, Ultra Extreme, Inc., based
in Arlington, TX. An operator of tanning salons, Clayton added numerous locations, Franchising
his concept to others and along with expanding into Nationwide Importing/Distribution of new
and used tanning equipment. He owned trademarks and private labels on tanning light bulbs
and skin care/tanning products. For a period of time Clayton was the also exclusive Importer for
an Italian company, Sportarredo USA, reaching multi-million dollars in sales. Parting ways with
Sportarredo in 2008 his final role was Director of Sales for the North American market and was
working directly for Sportarredo Italy while Ultra Extreme, Inc continued to operate and still
handled it's retail locations, franchise business, product sales, parts and service.
In 2011, Clayton began to sell his remaining businesses with the long term plan to move to Azle
and rejoin Marie Pigg Real Estate. This was accomplished by the end of 2015. Clayton’s only child,
Emery, attends an Azle elementary school.
Clayton is a successful part of Marie Pigg Real Estate, servicing the
Azle area for many more years and keeping the business in the family for generations to come.
Along with being at Marie Pigg Real Estate, Ultra Extreme, Inc. has still remained growing and
transforming into what it is today, Real Estate, General Contracting, Home Construction and
Developing.
